Concrete Community Art Show
Concrete Community-a group show fundraiser for our DIY skatepark The Foundation.
The reception will be Friday, February 15 from 7-10pm and will feature original works
from local artists, live screen printed t-shirts courtesy of Green Light Ink, a Valentine's
Day themed photo booth, and refreshments courtesy of Pabst Blue Ribbon. The show
will run through March 17.
99 Bottles Art Show
The “99 Bottles” group art show is inspired by the old classic song “99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall” and will feature over sixty different artists’ work with an eclectic mix of mediums. Curated by longtime Push employee and owner of Brainstorm Skateboards, Eric Hunt, the show has been designed to take visitors on a celebratory journey trough art, skateboarding, and the community that the shop has fostered in its 13 years in Downtown Asheville. Brainstorm and Push have partnered with Green Man, New Belgium and the Wedge to release limited edition collaborative skateboards featuring the artwork of Fian Aroyo, Rosy Kirby / Matt Comstock, and Ted Harper. An opening reception will be held Friday, December 14th from 7pm-10pm in Push’s Gallery and will hang through January.
Coda Art Show and Board Release
Come one and all to witness the visual spectacle that is Coda Skateboards. The crew has travelled all the way from NYC to bring you their collaborative cacophony of amazing artists and to release the latest line of Coda boards. The reception is Friday, November 9 from 7-10pm and refreshments will be graciously provided by Pabst Blue Ribbon.

Alex Irvine Foundeviation Art Show
Foundeviation: an art show/fundraiser for skateable public art featuring new works by Alex Irvine. Reception Friday, August 3 from 7-10pm. Refreshments graciously provided by Pabst Blue Ribbon.
A few words from the artist:
This art show is a fundraiser / proposal to build a sideways “Guastavino dome”—a cradle, in skatepark terms, made of tile—at the Foundation skateable sculpture park in the River Arts District. Imagine the roof of the basilica downtown on its side so you could skate it. The show features graphics and ceramics by Alex Irvine that help explain the proposed construction and hopefully raise some money to fund the project. There will also be opportunity for public input on this project and what the future of the skatepark could look like.
